| Houston, Texas – Late last night, President Trump released a Truth Social Post demanding that Republican Senators end the filibuster using the nuclear option. John Cornyn, however, has spent 24 years in the United States Senate advocating for the filibuster. Senator John Cornyn LOVES the filibuster: October 2025: Senator Cornyn says eliminating the filibuster is a “non-starter.” September 2024: Cornyn states that he would reject “all attempts” to abolish the filibuster. September 2024: Cornyn states, “Once the 60-vote filibuster rule ends for one piece of non-budget legislation, it will end for everything.” January 2022: Cornyn states, “Today Dems are trying to blow up the Senate for their own political gain by effectively eliminating the filibuster.  Question: Will John Cornyn break with President Trump and honor his 24-year promise? Or is he so desperate for an endorsement to resuscitate his campaign that he will vote to end the filibuster?
