This Senate race has shifted from “Defending the Majority” to “Saving John Cornyn,” yet it’s clear Cornyn is flailing as he sinks.
The irony? Cornyn has recently insisted that Wesley Hunt isn’t a threat to his campaign — yet here he is, panicking enough to burn through his war chest. This is especially ironic, given that a new public poll released today has Cornyn TIED with Wesley Hunt.
Just last week, Cornyn stumbled and mumbled through an interview on the Chad Hasty Show, grasping for excuses about why he’s too scared to debate Congressman Wesley Hunt face-to-face.
“Um, because he simply can’t win.”
“Um, I don’t think that Wesley Hunt is a serious candidate, um.”
If Wesley Hunt “isn’t a threat,” why is John Cornyn spending millions trying to tear him down?
Cornyn claims that he’s the recipient of SLF and AOA’s money because he’s the only candidate in this race who can win the general election.
However, Wesley Hunt is outperforming John Cornyn and Ken Paxton in the general election against both Talarico and Allred.
John Cornyn lost the trust of Texans the moment he co-authored gun control with Democrats, shipped billions of our tax dollars to Ukraine, and voted for mass amnesty — not once, not twice, but ELEVEN times.
It’s time for new leadership in Washington — leadership that puts Texans first, not last.
