To which Cornyn had a lot to say. ![]() As of today, John Cornyn has dropped to third place, and Wesley Hunt has surged to second. After just six weeks in the race, polls show that in a head-to-head matchup against Paxton, Hunt and Paxton are statistically tied. If Cornyn needed evidence that Hunt has the momentum to win the race, he has it. So the real question is: Is John Cornyn a man of his word? Will he drop out of the race?
