| Houston, Texas – New polling released this week offers a glimpse of the rough road ahead for the GOP to maintain its majority. Despite the gigantic troubles that lie ahead, SLF has doubled down on John Cornyn’s sinking campaign, for reasons unbeknownst to anyone. As of today, SLF has spent over $40 million to resuscitate Cornyn’s campaign.  So what has $40 million gotten the Cornyn and our party? A 10% regression in John’s ballot!  According to Decision Desk HQ, Cornyn started this race with a 38% ballot share in May 2025. After spending $40 million, he now holds a 28% ballot share—a double-digit decline. This situation becomes a lot worse when taking a look at recent Senate polling across the country: North Carolina 11/13/25: Whatley (39%) – Cooper (47%) Ohio 11/12/25: Husted (45%) – Brown (48%) Alaska 10/23/25: Sullivan (45%) – Peltola (46%) Maine 10/29/25: Collins (41%) – Platner (45%) John Cornyn claims he is the recipient of $40 million in outside spending by SLF because he is the only one who can win the general election. However, Wesley Hunt is outperforming John Cornyn in a general election against all potential Democratic nominees.
