Houston, TX –Wesley Hunt, Houston native, Army combat, and Republican candidate for Congress, released the following statement on his endorsement from Senator Ted Cruz to run for Congress in Texas’s new 38th Congressional district.

“I am proud to endorse Wesley Hunt to be my Congressman here in TX-38. Wesley is a combat veteran and a patriot and I’m confident that if elected to Congress he will continue fighting to defend our Constitution against the radical left. I know Wesley will stand with me to defend the unborn, protect the 2nd amendment and halt the flow of illegal aliens across our border. Wesley’s commitment to service and his values make him a great advocate for the people of the 38th district. I am proud to endorse Wesley and I urge conservatives in the 38th district to join me in supporting Wesley Hunt for Congress,” said Senator Ted Cruz. 

Cruz’s endorsement comes a week after Wesley Hunt announced his intention to run in Texas’ 38th Congressional District and is another testament to Wesley’s strength as a Primary candidate.
