Houston, TX –Wesley Hunt, Houston native, Army combat veteran, and Republican candidate for Congress, released the following statement on his endorsement from Congressman Ted Poe to run for Congress in Texas’ new 38th Congressional district.

“I am happy to announce my endorsement of Wesley Hunt. Wesley is a product of Klein, Texas who is intimately familiar with our community and grasps the needs of our neighbors. Many parts of my former Congressional District now fall into TX-38, and I can confidently say there is no one better to represent them than Wesley Hunt. He is a fighter that Houston needs now more than ever, and I am proud to support his campaign,” said Congressman Ted Poe. 

Congressman Poe’s endorsement comes after Hunt was recently endorsed by Texas Alliance for Life, Congressman Ronny Jackson, prominent Houston conservative radio host, Kenny Webster, and Americans for Prosperity Action.
